The tech tools are all around and getting into the video making business for marketing seems like the way everything is heading.

People are producing some good looking videos that are filled with content.  Getting started with a smartphone might be the first step.

Maybe you start recording just for fun.  You might not even upload your first videos until you start to really feel comfortable.

Recording videos and then hitting the delete button might be just like taking those first trips to ride a bike when you fall down a lot.  You just chalk it up to the process.

Getting better at making videos might be the ultimate goal.  Going into it with the end goal in mind, but not worrying about the first steps could be a big part of the plan.

Making the decision to start making is starting with an idea.  It might be something that is low cost.  It might just be a flyer.

Coming up with a headline and then coming up with the body of the ad.  The flyer might include some graphics.  

Taking ideas and turning them into marketing materials that can be tested means sitting down and doing it.  What are you going to build you flyer with?

It might be microsoft word.  It might be publisher or google docs.  Starting to get creative with your new flyer and brainstorming might be part of the fun.

Who is your audience?  What are you trying to get them to do?  Are you going to be funny or serious?
