joining an affiliate program

When you join an affiliate marketing program you can expect to get banners and text links that you can post on your website.  Now affiliates are starting to provide even more information for you to help start selling.  In addition to graphic banners and text links,  they are starting to create sample blog posts and twitter posts with your affiliate links included.  Email files with carefully crafted content with your affiliate links embedded are also becoming commonplace.

So after signing up with an affiliate you can be directed to an affiliate area of their website and get access to all this information.  You enter your login and password and clickbank id.  All the links on the page are updated with your affiliate id.  You just have to highlight and copy the information that you want and paste it into either your blog, website or email program.

Affiliates are trying to make it as easy as possible for you to promote the products.  Getting up and running with an affiliate program is a piece of cake these days.  The real work comes in getting web traffic and trying to build an email list.
